Helloooo Whoever-Is-Out-There.

This is my mission statement. Nothing much to read if you're not interested in the META of why I decided to start a blog.

First and foremost, if I can't speak, then at the very least I neeeeeed to write. I'm not primarily here to advertise something, or to improve my SEO (although that might be a benign side-effect if it does come to pass). I'm just here to write about what I'm doing and what I'm thinking.

So what to expect from this blog? 

• General musings about politics, history, culture, science, technology, and the absurd state of humanity at this antediluvian moment.
• Reports on progress with my creative art and craft works, more often than not involving epoxy resin (see below for examples).
• Discussions of other areas in which I have specific interest and/or expertise (language, linguistics, Eastern Europe and the Middle East), and areas in which I have a developing or previously only half-developed interest (computing, web design and AI, mainly).
• And when I'm not calm enough to muse, I'm going to RANT, okay?
